Leadership

Michael Hoff, Senior Vice President, Director of Content

What I really do
I try to make people listen to what our clients have to offer. It's not easy. They're over-inundated with noise from marketing traffic. So I try to make our clients' ads the bell on the ice cream truck.

Accomplishments
My clients and coworkers rely on me.

How I maintain sanity
I remind myself that there are four people at home depending on me. If that doesn't work, I put in buck teeth and hike my pants up to my armpits. If that doesn't work, I go out in the woods with a Pennsylvania long rifle.

Why I work at Mullen
I'm surrounded by really creative, inspirational people. And the coffee's good.

Where I have worked and what I have done
Before Mullen, I was at Blattner/Brunner, working on PA Economic Development, Pittsburgh Paints, Daily's, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and other B2C and B2B accounts. Before that, a small agency in State College, PA.

Last Book Read
Most recently, a quirky little history of Daylight Saving Time called Spring Forward. Sounds dull, but it is comically fascinating. I almost never read novels any more, but I read the first Harry Potter book because my daughter insisted. Now I've read them all twice.

What I Couldn't Live Without
Coming home to my wife and three girls, State Game Land 108, Pirates baseball, the change of seasons and about 12 Elton John albums.
