Hollywood Tans selected Mullen as advertising and digital agency-of-record to handle integrated marketing communications, including strategic planning, advertising, digital and direct marketing. The announcement follows an extensive agency review conducted by Hollywood Tans between November through December 2007. The Hollywood Tans account will be handled through Mullen’s Pittsburgh office with resources deployed as needed from across the agency network.

“Mullen’s integrated approach is what we were looking for, but the primary reason we went with them was their creative focus,” said Jennifer Schlieper, vice president, marketing for Hollywood Tans. “Brian Bronaugh’s role as both the head of the Pittsburgh office as well as the executive creative director was ultimately the differentiator in our decision making process.”

Mullen will be responsible for brand positioning, creative development, web development, and go-to-market communications for the Hollywood Tans brand and all related products and services.

The new business win comes almost two months to the day after Brian Bronaugh was named president and executive creative director of Mullen’s Pittsburgh office.
