Yes, that’s right. You read that headline correctly and must be wondering what the unlikely pair hooked up for. And as much as we would love to share the scoop of this clandestine meeting, we can’t – at least not yet.
Miss America 2010, Caressa Cameron, recently graced the Mullen offices in Winston-Salem. The outgoing, enthusiastic and intelligent Caressa warmed the hearts of our employees in a candid one-on-150 interview, during which teammates caught a glimpse into her 20,000 miles-per-month traveling schedule, her relentless charitable efforts and a point-by-point list of the differences between Miss America and other pageants.
So lest you think that Miss America is just about pretty clothing, adoring smiles and modeling contracts – think again and take note (and hopefully you will be as moved and surprised as our teams were). The Miss America Organization, 90 years rich in history, has a legacy that is more substantial and relevant than you might imagine. They herald service, celebrate style, acknowledge success and salute scholarships. The Miss America crown includes four points designed to represent a commitment to inspire young women to achieve the impossible and to live a life of service enriched with learning and higher education.
